Solving Inequalities Solve the inequality just like an equation, but if we multiply or divide by a negative we need to reverse the inequality sign. When we graph inequalities, a solid dot includes the exact point, an open circle excludes the exact point. Polynomials Addition... combine like terms, don't touch exponents Subtraction... a minus sign in front of a parenthesis indicates that we CHANGE EVERY sign in the parenthesis and then combine like terms Subtract From... the
